Multiple options available to obtain CME credits

Akron Children’s Hospital offers many ways for medical staff to earn continuing medical education credits. In addition to Grand Rounds (which are offered on most Fridays), there are several all-day symposia, many recurring subspecialty/multidisciplinary series and more.

Evaluation of these CME activities, in most cases, is now done online. By creating a profile (username and password), attendees can evaluate the activity they attended and log their credit for up to 30 days afterward. You can also obtain transcripts of your individual CME hours using this profile.

If you’re unable to attend Grand Rounds, most can be accessed and viewed live online from the CME calendar. Complete an online evaluation to get credit for viewing these activities.

In addition, most Grand Rounds are available within a week for on-demand viewing. These enduring material activities will be available for up to 1 year after the initial presentation and credit can be obtained by registering and completing a post-test and activity evaluation.
